1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the MyContents application (the "Service") operated by 1000815363 Ontario Inc. ("we", "us", or "our"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

MyContents is a web-based application that allows users to create and manage a digital inventory of their home contents, including but not limited to recording item details, uploading photos, and organizing items by location and room.

3. User Accounts

You must create an account to use the Service. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information and to update such information as necessary.

4. Free Trial

New users may be eligible for a free trial period of 30 days with limited access (1 location). At the end of the trial, you must subscribe to a paid plan to continue using the Service. We reserve the right to modify or discontinue the free trial at any time.

5. Subscriptions and Payments

Paid subscriptions are available in various plans and durations. All payments are processed through Stripe. By subscribing, you authorize us to charge your payment method at the then-current rate. Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled before the renewal date.

6. Cancellation and Refunds

You may cancel automatic renewal at any time. Upon cancellation, your subscription remains active until the end of the current billing period. Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis. Contact support for refund requests.

7. User Content

You retain ownership of all content you upload to the Service. By using the Service, you grant us a limited license to store, display, and process your content solely for the purpose of providing the Service. We do not access, share, or use your content for any other purpose.

8. Prohibited Uses

You agree not to use the Service to:

  • Violate any applicable laws or regulations
  • Upload malicious content, viruses, or harmful code
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or its systems
  • Interfere with or disrupt the Service or its infrastructure
  • Use the Service for any illegal or fraudulent purpose

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure. The Service is not a substitute for professional insurance advice or appraisal.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, 1000815363 Ontario Inc. shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

11. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time, with or without notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users, us, or third parties. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately.

12. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Province of Ontario, Canada, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

13. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
